Nic Swensgard #158 is a 16-year old American Pro Motorcycle Road Racer that currently competes in the premiere National MotoAmerica KTM 390 Cup, a series dedicated to building professional road racers from age 14 to 22 into highly competitive middleweight SuperStock/Supersport and SuperSport/SuperBike racers. With hard work, dedication, and talent a select few will transition to the FIM World Circuit Production Class or British World Superbike Circuit.
Nic #158 forged his love for racing at age 3 when his family purchased a Yamaha PW50 with training wheels before he ever rode a bicycle. His first race was at the age of 6 on a KTM 50 pro junior bike.
While training at the Herrin Camp, Nic was able to ride a full race faring mini-street bike. Practicing on a CR85, a XR100 for kart track practice, and flat track; he improved his skill and showed promise for a professional career in road racing.
This was his calling.... Soon after he purchased a Moriwaki 250 to compete in WERA, CVMA, and other clubs in the western USA competing in the Formula 3 and Formula 2 classes. Securing the class championship and best results of WERA West Formula 3 region number one plate, WERA Mini number one plate, Formula 2 National 3rd place, 2013 WERA Southeast Formula 3 Champion, and 2013 WERA North Florida Formula 3 Champion, Nic began his road to success.
